Greater Shepparton Visitor Information Centre staff: The staff of the Visitor Information Centre are employed by the Greater Shepparton City Council, and have a combined 15 years experience with the Centre. Our staff are bound by the values of Council: Leadership, Innovation, Respect, Integrity and Teamwork.

Please be patient if the particular staff person you wish to contact is not immediately available - due to the nature of our service (open 7 days a week), staff work a rotating roster and variety of hours. The staff work closely as a team, and will endeavour to answer your query or relay a message the necessary staff person in their absence.

If you drop in to visit the Shepparton Visitor Information Centre or contact us by phone, it is likely that you will be greeted by one of our friendly, welcoming volunteers. Our volunteers know Greater Shepparton inside-out, like only a local who loves their town can! They are a font of knowledge, and are ready and waiting to assist you to make the most of your visit to our region. You may also bump into our volunteers staffing an information booth at one of the many major events that come to Greater Shepparton, or even guiding you on a bus or walking tour. We have volunteers who have served for 3 months to 20 years!

The Major Events and Promotions Department can assist with:
- Planning of conferences and events
- Selection of venues to suit your individual requirements
- Sourcing and compilation of quotes and professional bids
- Assistance in selection and booking of accommodation
- Co-ordination and conducting of site inspections and visits to the region
- Assistance with pre and post touring options
- Design of programs to incorporate partners activities
- Ability to design and offer various themed events and
- Ideas which can be incorporated into the conference agenda.
Most importantly, the Council can provide you with personel who know the region and its capabilities, with the added benefit of being based in the region to assist and make your next conference or event a success.
