Paint the Town Red in the Green Heart this October!

Join in the fun in October and discover something new in your own backyard! Greater Shepparton's first ever Tourism Week will celebrate and showcase the region's amazing array of attractions, produce, arts and culture.

The tourism-based event invites local residents and visitors to discover what Greater Shepparton has to offer - some of the best food and wine in Victoria, world class art exhibitions, music festivals, attractive farm gates, horse racing, walking and cycling tracks, retail therapy and sports faciltiies to rival any other provincial city.

From October 16 to 25, the region will be abuzz with thousands of people expected to take advantage of the many free community and industry-based events organised by Tourism Greater Shepparton and tourism operators who will entice you to their door.

Sunday 18 October - Official Sunset Launch of Inaugural Shepparton Tourism Week
Sponsored by the Greater Shepparton City Council Events Department, the Official Sunset Launch will be held at the Country Comfort, Shepparton to mark the beginning of Tourism Week celebrations. This will also include the official launch of the "52 Great Discoveries" brochure, inspiring locals to learn about tourism opportunities in their own backyard!

Familiarise yourself with your local attractions on a free bus tour
BUS 1 - Belstack Strawberry Farm, Riverside Gardens, Broken River Vineyards
BUS 2- Chocolate Apple Factory, Woodlands Estate Lavender, BIG4 Shepparton East Holiday Park for afternoon tea
Bus departs the Greater Shepparton Visitor Information Centre at 2.00pm to return at 4.30pm
